The MiMod is awesome! I installed it in my EV and it runs all digital devices (on/off) in the car. It actually functions as my switch console. Now I also have a screen just for the EV stuff but this helps me know what I have going on in my car at a glance. You can see my car by going to http://www.evalbum.com/3010.

It also has radio controls built in. For music, I like MP3's so my MiMod is equipped for that. I also have a screen that I can pull up GPS.

The Speedometer in the center has both digital numbers and a moving needle, just like an analog version. I can also make the RPM and State of Charge needles move as well.

The touch screen actuators lift the trunk and the poppers to open the hatches and doors.  There are safety limits built in so as you are traveling, they will not function.

For turn signals.. I just touch the screen for left or right.

And finally, with my wireless broadband subscription, I have complete access to the Internet all over the city from my car. Just one more thing MiMod can do.

Since the MiMod system is all solid state, meaning no moving parts, vibration is not a problem and it should give me years of use.

For anyone with an electric car, once they see MiMod work, they’ll want it. Everyone I’ve shown it to is amazed at what it can do.
